BIOBorn and raised in Rockville Centre, Long Island, and currently living in Montclair, New Jersey, Patty spent the intervening years living in New York City. She worked behind the scenes on shows such as “The Equalizer,” and “The Morning Show with Regis and Kathie Lee,” and on producing commercials for MTV, all the while harboring a desire to act. It was during this time that producers encouraged Patty to contribute her voice to commercials. She ultimately landed several national television spots such as “Snuggle,” “Ralston Purina,” and “Swiffer Max,” did featured extra work on “Law and Order, Criminal Intent,” and played the lead in an original play, “Girlz N Blue,” written and directed by Amy Green.
Focused on pursuing an acting career full time, Patty completed the program at the Atlantic Theater Acting School, and won her first film role at her first audition, the lead in a short film, “Sequoia Blue” written and directed by Josiah Signor. She has since been cast in other shorts and continues to build her voice-over career, utilizing a professional studio in her home. Patty is also the founder of Extreme Moderation Fitness . One of her greatest achievements was completing the New York City Marathon in 4 hours and 28 minutes without pain or injury! The greatest blessing is life with her husband, musician/composer Steve Skinner, and the three inspiring children in their home. |
